- Universities review applications and start issuing official Admission Letters. Once you pay a seat-booking deposit, the university will process and send the crucial JW202 (visa invitation) form.

This is to ensure you can safely communicate with local patients. The university provides Chinese language classes for the first two years to ensure you can pass this.
9. Can I do my 1-year internship in the UAE or my home country?
This depends on your university in China and your home country’s medical council.
- For Indian Students: The NMC requires the internship to be completed at the same university where you studied.
- For Other Nationalities: Some universities may permit it, but it’s generally recommended to complete the internship in China’s affiliated hospitals, which have excellent patient flow and are part of your degree. To do an internship in the UAE, you would need to apply for the Unified Internship Program in Dubai (DHA), which is a separate and highly competitive process.
10. Are there Halal food options available at Chinese universities?
Yes. All 45 universities on the approved list have large international student populations and provide dedicated Halal canteens on campus. Major cities in China also have numerous Halal restaurants.
11. Is there a Spring (March) intake for MBBS in China?
No. The 6-year English-taught MBBS program is only offered for the Fall (September) intake. Any consultant offering a “Spring intake” for MBBS is likely referring to a pre-medical or foundation language program, not the main degree.
12. When is the best time to apply for the 2026 intake?
